These terms apply whenever you browse this site or place an order with Makhana Box ("we", "us"), based in Patna, Bihar. By placing an order, you agree to them.
How ordering works
We don't run an automated checkout. Every "Order" button opens a WhatsApp chat pre-filled with your selection — a real person on our end confirms your flavours, quantities, price and delivery address before anything is packed. Your order isn't confirmed, and no contract of sale is formed, until we've confirmed it back to you on WhatsApp.
Products and pricing
Prices shown on this site are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include what's stated on each product page; they don't automatically include shipping, which is confirmed separately where it applies (see our Shipping Policy). We roast and pack in small batches, so occasionally a flavour or pack size may be temporarily unavailable — we'll tell you on WhatsApp if that's the case for your order, rather than silently substituting something else.
Payment
We currently accept cash on delivery (where serviceable) and UPI, arranged directly with you during order confirmation. We don't process card payments on this site and never ask for card details, OTPs, or banking passwords over WhatsApp or email — treat any such request as fraudulent and report it to us.

Food-specific terms
Our products are made fresh, in small batches, without preservatives — see our FAQ for shelf-life guidance. Ingredient and allergen information is listed on each product page and on the pack itself; please check it if you have food allergies or sensitivities before ordering.
Your responsibilities
Please provide an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number. We're not responsible for delivery delays or failures caused by incorrect or incomplete address information you've provided.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issue with an order is limited to the value of that order (via replacement or refund, per our Refund Policy). We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site or our products.
Intellectual property
The text, images, and design on this site belong to Makhana Box unless stated otherwise, and shouldn't be reused without our permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Patna, Bihar.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continuing to order from us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
